Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike to reunite with Hardwell & Afrojack in surprise live show December 23, stream live

It’s no secret that Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are keen on surprises. In the past, the two have welcomed Lost Frequencies, Steve Angelo, Armin Van Buuren, Afrojack, Steve Aoki, and more, in surprise stage appearances. Now, the duo has two surprises up their sleeves which will surely come as a shock to longtime fans: Hardwell will reportedly be joining DM&LM on stage December 23 at their Antwerp, Belgium show, with Afrojack joining the duo the night before.

Hardwell’s reunion with the duo marks an official burial of the parties’ longtime feud. The feud dates back to 2015 when DM&LM dethroned Hardwell in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ poll with the use of questionable methods. The two were said to have hired workers to wander festival grounds with iPads, asking attendees for their help in attaining the top spot in the poll.

Considering DM&LM’s relationship with Tomorrowland, the parties’ hatchet burial may also signify that Hardwell will see an inclusion in the upcoming line-up. Nonetheless, it’s an exciting development and display of integrity from two of electronic dance music’s hardest working purveyors.

It’s also been reported that Hardwell and the duo will debut a new track in during the show, and while its official release timeline has yet to have been confirmed outside of the show, if the live reunion hadn’t already signified, the new track surely points to a mended relationship between all parties.

DM&LM’s show with Hardwell on December 23 will live stream via the DV&LM YouTube and Facebook channels or here.
