Dion Timmer releases genre spanning ‘Textacy’ EP

Dion Timmer’s roots in Netherlands rave scene have come to shape him as an artist and as a tastemaker within the bass music community. Over the last year Timmer has released a flock of massive singles and even landed the coveted slot as opening act for 50+ sold out shows on Excision’s 2017 tour. Unbelievably, this all happened before his 18th birthday.

His newest EP Textacy is a forthright statement detailing Timmer’s mission to invade the bass music community’s collective consciousness with his signature melodic builds and grotesque — in the most flattering way possible — break downs.

The self titled first track strays from Timmer’s typical structural approach, forsaking dubs for a four on the floor beat and carbonated deep house synths. The project experiments with heavy bass music, bubbling deep house beats, and everything in between.
