Awakenings
Leading outdoor techno-event Awakenings Festival has announced this year’s lineup. It proves to be all set for a glorious return in 2018. The global festival will take place June 30 – July 1 at the grounds in Spaarnwoude once again.
Over 100 artists will perform in eight different areas over the weekend for two jam-packed days of techno, presenting underground music from both ends of the spectrum. As per usual, Awakenings Festival has gone above and beyond to boost their reputation for groundbreaking production and stage design. Particularly, this will be seen in the open air areas. The festival expects 80,000 visitors to attend.
Lineup
Key acts this year include veterans like Carl Cox and Adam Beyer. Carl Cox will be performing at Area V on Saturday. Then, on Sunday, he will host his Intec area at Area W. Furthermore, Adam Beyer will perform in Area X on Saturday. On Sunday he also takes his beloved Drumcode crew with him to host Area V. In addition, Nina Kraviz and Sven Väth will play a solo set on both days.
