Axwell Λ Ingrosso just dropped their latest release, “Dancing Alone” to cap off the month of June. Now, the pair appear to be promoting the new single with a new digital billboard, though the new ad creative seems to be plugging something much bigger. It seems to be teasing the return of Swedish House Mafia. Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello comeback seems to have officially begun.
The billboard shows the artwork for “Dancing Alone” followed by an error message and the Mafia’s ubiquitous, signature white dots. Axwell Λ Ingrosso hinted at the trio touring at New York’s Brooklyn Mirage on Memorial Day. The next month, Steve Angello confirmed the trio will be touring together next year. The Swedish dance icons’ last performance was a lauded reunion at Ultra Music Festival this year. Before that, they branded their performance at Ultra Music Festival 2013 as their final show before the trio bisbanded. Now, Swedish House Mafia is back and ready to take fans by storm, and the new billboard could signal to “Dancing Alone” being the end of Swedish House Mafia’s hiatus.
