A mural in Los Angeles that only allows verified influencers and people with more than 20,000 social media followers to pose in front of it has been a considerably hot topic and widespread reason for online outrage recently.

Located on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood, the mural is flanked by security guards, covered with a white sheet to limit the access to the hallowed work, and most importantly accompanied by a sign that reads, among other things, “INFLUENCERS: PLEASE TAG US ON SOCIAL MEDIA. INSTA: @LIKEANDSUBSCRIBE.”

Enter Dillon Francis. The artist’s just taken a page out of the Diplo playbook and developed and produced his very own television series, using the influencer mural to generate hype. The modern moombahton maven recently took to Twitter to share the news of his own original series, announcing that the show would divulge on a topic “near and dear” to the artist’s heart — influencers.

Like and Subscribe is debuting July 9, with a cast of you guessed it — influencers.
