On June 19, the superstar Parisian hit maker’s website was completely scrubbed, leaving only a brief message and a ticking timer, counting down to the morning of June 20. Leaving room for rampant speculation, the site now simply reads,
What does Snake have up his sleeve? While it might be a head-scratcher for some fans, others might remember that the “Public Enemy” producer took to Twitter in late May to express his plans to walk back on his one-and-done album policy, promising a sophomore effort at an undisclosed time.

Is DJ Snake taking a page out of the Carters’ playbook with a surprise full-length project out of nowhere? With only one day’s notice, it’s hard to guess definitively at what he’s is teasing. Is another marquee collaboration underway? Maybe we’re in for something entirely different. Signs point to new material from Snake, but for now details are scarce at best — though something about this tells us to expect the unexpected.
