Headbangers were thrust into the ultimate state of anticipation when bass legend Excision recently announced an upcoming new album. The project will be called Apex, and the release date is just around the corner on August 14. Rumors had been circulating that the producer had been working on a new album, with the Lost Lands proprietor eventually taking to Twitter to cement the news.

The 14-track collection will feature collaborations from dubstep heavyweights Dion TimmerSpace Laces, as well as Sullivan King. Fans have already heard hit collaboration, “Gold (Stupid Love)” featuring Illenium and Shallows from the impending new LP, and if this track was any indication of what to expect from the album, Apex will not be in short supply of bone-rattling bass hits.
