The most important day of every week: New Music Friday. As each week brings a succession of new music from some of electronic music’s biggest artists, here’s a selection of tracks that shouldn’t be missed.

The Magician casts his infectious house melodies on Michael Calfran’s “It’s Wrong,” featuring smooth vocals from Danny Dearden. A bouncing bassline dances with the melody, adding a groovy swing to the remix.

Russian DJ ARTY brings an effervescent light to “Perfect Strangers,” A Euro dance build falls into stuttering electro house. Big, bright synths are part of the lush atmosphere he’s built here, seemingly drawing inspiration from Avicii in his early works.

Timmy Trumpet and Maddix have teamed up to bring stadium-sized psytrance in “The Prophecy,” released off Hardwell‘s Revealed imprint. Middle Eastern vocals dance alongside big kicks and a hefty bassline, while on the verses, bright synths croon above a bed of casual drums, unaware of what’s to come next.

Dzeko teams up with Brazilian producer, Liu, to show off intimidating bass house with body-tingling bass and rhythm-bouncing vocal chops. The melody builds anticipation on “Don’t Stop,” which then drops listeners deep down low into a bass abyss.

Abby Diamond walks along filtered sultry synths, twinkling texture, and accompanying percussive elements in “Irrelevant.” The harmony wafts in the air or flows like water, with Diamond’s dynamic atmosphere personifying elements.

Armada Music has released “Antares,” a bright electro house festival thumper from the two Dutch brothers, DubVision. Inspiring melodies build and maintain anticipation while the kick drives.

Phantoms feature Vanessa Hudgens on their pop-inspired single, “Lay With Me.” Hudgens rides the groove, showing off her range and spirit-lifting hooks.

Anna Yvette gets retro on “Shooting Star,” with her vocals gliding along ’80s synths, old-school drums, and a sparkling atmosphere, while slowing the tempo down for breakdowns. “Shooting Star” also features a sick guitar solo during the bridge.

Lido has released his I O U 1 EP off Emmanuel de Buretel’s Because Music label. “Partake” stands out among the list of must-listens, as a melancholy Lido slows heartbeats and mourns over distraught emotions. The song takes a turn halfway through, touting a story of resiliency.

i_o builds flawlessly on “Feel You Now,” sliding the arrangement into melodic bliss that sounds like stars shimmering in the night. A pulsating bassline drives alongside the big kick rhythm.

League of Legends is known for collaborating with great artists and releasing fire tracks. This time around, they team up with The Glitch MobMako, and The Word Alive for their 2018 theme song, “Rise.” Notes of electronic rock give way to a bit of headbanging in a more pop avenue.

Secondcity delivers groovy funk house with soulful vocals on top in “Tomorrow’s World.” Chord progressions of keys build with sax sounds to create a must-listen for any disco lover.

DJ Doctor Boom delivers a remix pack of JoJo‘s “Oh Yes Oh Yes” off his Del Sol imprint based out of Tampa, Florida. Brian Busto’s stands out for its infectious percussive swing and contrast between gritty lows and scintillating highs.

Hanne Mjøen’s newest single might be called “Sounds Good To Me,” but in actuality it sounds good to everyone. The blossoming Norwegian singer has been signed to Warner — a sign of true talent — and is already capturing worldwide attention with infectious hits like the one above.

Adam Port and RÜFÜS DU SOL make for an enticing combination. The Keinemusik member put his simmering, hypnotic touch on the Australian trio’s original “Underwater,” which works extraordinarily well with the airy chords and feel-good vocals of the song’s first iteration.
