Nora En Pure creates a blissful ambiance in her new house track, “Roots.” Off her upcoming EP, Don’t Look Back, “Roots” pays homage to Daniela Niederer’s South African heritage with chants, shakers, and the occasional didgeridoo. A sultry piano arrangement is combined with gliding percussion and warm strings. The hook comes in with a growling synth, smooth bassline, lost blips, and a house beat techno fans will love.
The South African-Swiss deep house producer has been smashing hits since 2013, playing stages from Coachella to Tomorrowland. She’s released two other tracks off the EP: “Branches” and the EP title track, “Don’t Look Back” on SoundCloud.
