A month after teasing the release of a new track, Skrillex and his band From First to Last are ready to “surrender” the new song.
In two tweets posted on July 23, the producer revealed that From First to Last will be dropping “Surrender” — and giving it away for free. The release of the song will mark the band’s first since “Make War” last January. If the track is anything like its predecessor, Skrillex fans and post-hardcore/screamo alike will be looping this one for many months to come.
Though Skrillex says he doesn’t “wanna make a big deal about it,” the music world is eagerly awaiting the new material. Stay tuned for the track’s release.
