Postmates’ seasonal slogan — “better than Santa” — recently caught the attention of Pizzaoki owner, Steve Aoki. The Kolony producer put the food delivery facilitator to the test with a tweet that challenged Postmates to prove that it was in fact “better than Santa.” “If Postmates is really better than Santa… I wish for pizzas from Pizzaoki to feed people in need today in LA,” Aoki tweeted.
Happy to help, Postmates demonstrated the spirit of giving by delivering pizzas from Aoki’s pizza chain to a homeless shelter in Los Angeles. Pizzaoki currently operates in a delivery-only format, having not yet opened a brick-and-mortar storefront, rendering Postmates’ help in transporting the pizza pies to the shelter invaluable.
