That The Weeknd has some new music to share is hardly a surprise, given the My Dear Melancholy crooner’s confirmation earlier this month that he was once again rubbing elbows in the studio with Gesaffelstein, a key figure in the 2018 album’s production.
While The Weeknd assisted on two of the year’s most noteworthy releases in the rap ring–Nicki Minaj‘s Queen, and Travis Scott‘s Astroworld–the R&B vocalist certainly isn’t neglecting his own projects, as the second episode of The Weeknd’s Beats 1 radio show, “Memento Mori” evinced.
The Weeknd treated listeners to previews of two new tracks that currently remain unreleased, including a remix of My Dear Melancholy constituent, “Try Me,” that features hip hop heavyweights Quavo, Trouble, and Swae Lee.
Those who missed “Memento Mori’s” live broadcast can stream the newly debuted material, here.
