Tiësto‘s summer-ready anthem ‘Jackie Chan’ saw the mega producer bring Post Malone into surefire EDM crossover territory. The track put classic Post verses over a sunny, pop house production made for top down cruising and warm weather clubbing. Now, the streaming smash gets a bag of remix heat courtesy of Lookas, M-22, HUGEL, Sebastian Perez, and the big boss himself. Jackie Chan – Remixes, Vol. 1 (Vol. 2 on the way?!) arrives via Tiësto’s own Musical Freedom imprint.
The head honcho takes the first sing with a “Big Room Mix” that flows like a mashup of radio ready flavors, with hip-hop vocal sections building into bombastic club house drops. M-22 and HUGEL take the song into more aggressive house territory with their reworks, while Lookas weaves the original into ultra distorted festival-ready trap. The remix pack ends with a standout set smasher from Sebastian Perez that manages to maintain the original’s laid back energy.
