Monstercat‘s hardstyle hero, Gammer, gave the similarly heavy-handed producer Valentino Khan‘s latest single “Lick It,” a dynamic makeover. Khan’s first original track of 2018, “Lick It” garnered attention upon the release of its provocative music video, in which a girl licks a number of foods and inanimate objects, as well as an elderly woman.
Gammer’s multi-faceted reproduction is brimming with high powered switch ups, taking the track through a number of styles including trap and bass house. The seasoned UK producer floods the remix with noteworthy nuances, including drum n bass fills and crunching snares.
Late last year, Gammer embarked on his journey to more regularly explore sounds outside the hardcore domain, with his dubstep-infused album, The Drop.
