Rihanna‘s flirtatious dance with electronic music over the last decade has only come to yield two major pop smashes alongside Calvin Harris, once in 2011 and then again five years later on 2016’s “This Is What You Came For.” Ri’s holdout on jumping head first into dominating the dance space has made her a highly sought commodity. She’s famously made a habit of rejecting even Diplo, who could probably snap out a full record of radio-ready hits around the Barbados-born superstar in a weekend. But where she may have once thought Diplo’s music sounded like “reggae songs at an airport,” its seems now she’s enlisted the Mad Decent helmer’s help, and according to Alesso, Ri’s bringing a slew of electronic heavyweights to back her first real foray into EDM domination.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Alesso noted that the “Work” singer has enlisted an army of dance music haymakers, and David Guetta, Martin Garrix, and of course Calvin Harris are all also reportedly involved. Rumors of songs written with Skrillex have surfaced, and reports have previously indicated that Rihanna could have as many as 500 dancehall records canned and ready to go. When pressed about a potential collaboration with the Anti star, Alesso kept tight lipped, though chances are he’s likely among the stacked posse of EDM hit-crafters hard at work on Rihanna’s next chart-dominating project.
