The dance world had felt a noticeable void during Madeon‘s recent absence. Until he came back swinging at the end of May 2019 with a brand new single, a show on Beats 1, and an eponymous Good Faith tour announcement, the French talent hadn’t put out new music since “Shelter” with Porter Robinson. It’s safe to say he’s fully back on track now, with yet another new single debuted during his latest Good Faith episode.
“Dream Dream Dream” follows the path of “All My Friends;” it’s melodic, breezy, and high on sentimentality. Though, the similarities end there. This new single sees the prodigious producer ventures down a more soulful path instead, with a bassier foundation. Playful riffs of synth add an even cheerier touch to the finished product. Clearly, 2019 is the year of even deeper experimentation from an already forward-thinking artist.
