Boys Noize has covered all ends of electronic music in 2020. He’s taken on pop with his work on Lady Gaga‘s Chromatica, deep techno with his analog recordings and live sessions, and even classic disco for Defected Records. Now, the German-Iraqi artist is back with something new, a remix for Australian producer Willaris. K.

The original track, “Chapel,” is a dance floor heater drawing heavy influences from industrial and dance music with WaveIQ’s staccato flow commanding center stage. For his take on the track, Boys Noize pulls some of the signature techno sounds from the original, but infuses an upbeat four-on-the-floor into the production. Meanwhile, WaveIQ’s vocals are converted into a short loop to complement the driving nature of Boys Noize’s remix. Overall, “Chapel’s” remix belongs in a warehouse club set ASAP, and is further proof that Boys Noize can take on any genre he pleases.
