Famed Dutch house music producer, Bingo Players (real name Maarten Hoogstraten), has just announced a new US tour leading off his new single, “Do What You Like.” The track is a collaboration with the Los Angeles-based rising star, Zookëper (real name Michael Doerr), who will serve as direct support on the tour.
This will be Hoogstraten’s first tour post COVID, and it will see the pair of collaborators hit a variety of hot spots including Las Vegas, Austin, and Tampa. The spirit of their track is very much in line with the tour as both producers are finally getting to do what they like after almost two years off the road.
Sonically, “Do What You Like” is filled with welcome back energy. A groovy mix of electro house and disco give the track an upbeat summer feel, while the repeating but unobtrusive vocal sample loops the title of the song. After a global pandemic, everyone deserves to do what they like.
