Blue Skies is Sam Parker‘s first official release with NoFace Records and came out on 11 December, featuring the amazing vocals of Sam Ellwood. It’s a vibey house track with a beautiful melody that goes on through all the song. The song does not have multiple elements and layers but it has the perfect and necessary ones to make this one perfect. The drum pattern doesn’t get stacked in a four-on-the-floor, instead there is a breakbeat pattern at the end of every phrase that gives the song that feeling which will surely make everybody want to dance.
The vocals are perfect for the song. That deep and male sound fits incredibly well with the chilling aura of the song, adding a deeper layer of complexity, both in the vocals and in the way they are mixed.
To round everything up, the mix of the elements is perfect, giving enough space for all of them, nothing needs to be left out, nothing is missing. To summarize: an all around solid track that will make for an incredibly enjoyable experience for all listeners, leaving them begging for more.
