LP Giobbi and her collective FEMME HOUSE are determined to give opportunities to non-male individuals within the music industry, and this year, for the first time ever, Giobbi is taking FEMME HOUSE on the road.
The FEMME HOUSE Takeover Tour will hit 12 cities throughout the US, combining club shows at night with free production workshops during the day. The workshops will be conducted by Giobbi herself along with Ableton-certified trainers. There will also be workshops on DJing, and in some markets, there will be professional development events produced in partnership with She Is The Music, a nonprofit organization with a similar mission to Femme House.
“When I first started out, I learned that only about 2% of charting producers were non-male. It’s what drove me to build FEMME HOUSE, and combine the power of education with the freedom of the dance floor,” shares LP Giobbi. “The FEMME HOUSE Takeover Tour will innovate the concert-going experience by offering free production workshops during the day and an epic club party highlighting a gender-expansive lineup at night, providing the education, opportunity, and visual representation critical to changing that 2% stat.
