Norway-born, LA-based Bearson has released an easygoing, dreamy single, “I Only Need One” featuring MNDR. The track combines stacked vocals, fluffy arpeggiated mallets, and a bed of synths atop bouncing percussion elements to create an air of melodic bliss and nonchalance. With so many melodic layers, this track demonstrates the production supervision of the Next Wave Records founder.
His ability to create an ambiance around the vocals sounds effortless. MNDR is known for her collaborations with Felix Cartal and Jai Wolf. The producer from Oslo has also worked with esteemed vocalists such as Kailee Morgue and Ashe.
“I Only Need One” is the first single off Bearson’s debut EP, Hibernation.
