Just out via Sweden’s Snafu Records is ‘Nightmare,’ a new single from the studio of LA based talent Brooke Williams. Able to switch smoothly between country and pop influences, her diverse style is on top form with this record.
Pulling in dreamy electronic undercurrents to complement her surging vocals and striking guitar hooks, ‘Nightmare’ is a powerful musical statement. Staying true to herself as an artist, Brooke Williams has drawn on her own personal experiences to write the tune, saying:
“I used to hang out with this guy who always described himself as a ‘nightmare.’ Every time I hung out with him, we’d have the craziest, most unexpected adventures. He was the kind of person who pushed your comfort zone and you’d become addicted to the fun and thrill of it. He was spontaneous and could never make his mind up about a girl, let alone anything else.
