Doc Martin gives us a dose of proper house ahead of Ocaso Festival [Exclusive Mix]Doc Martin Prof Shot

Anyone who knows a bit of house music history ought to the name Doc Martin. While the sound was born in LA, the aforementioned talent was one of the most prolific pioneers in its early days, bringing it over to the West Coast and helping to breed the LA scene. It’s safe to say the city is a bit of a house and techno mecca in the present, and it’s thanks to roots planted and diligent cultivation efforts from Doc Martin and his peers that lent to LA’s rise in the global arena. Through his iconic Sublevel brand, we continue to see him rock dancefloors and showing off his seamless mixing all over the United States and abroad.

One place Doc Martin will be stopping off at this winter is Costa Rica’s Ocaso Festival in Tamarindo, where he’ll be offering up a New Year’s set to those celebrating in the Central American beach town. Those not able attend need not worry, however, because Doc’s supplied Dancing Astronaut with an exclusive mix to give us an idea of what’s in store. The hour long adventure dives deep in to a variation of subtle groovers, building into alien sounds of acid and tech, and finally ending on an utterly euphoric note with nostalgic disco accents. Expert selection as always by a true master.
