Fever Ray Announces 2018 North American Tour

Karin Dreijer Andersson is the woman behind Fever Ray, the second-half of now-defunct sibling duo, The Knife. A secluded mother of two who resides in Sweden, she typically stays out of the media spotlight. However, with the release of her 2017 album, Plunge, available on Rabid Records, Fever Ray will finally return to North America for the first time in eight years.

Only a handful of locations are slated across the U.S. and Canada, including her first appearance at California’s Lightning In A Bottle. Tickets went on sale January 26th and are available for purchase here!

Fever Ray earned her reputation with the claustrophobic, yet spiritually reverberant self-titled album release in 2009. The record paints a spectrum of ethereal sounds while the lyrics reflect on the boredom of newly found motherhood.

On her latest album, Plunge, Fever Ray changes her tone. It steps out from between the confines of “Concrete Walls” and heads “To The Moon and Back”. Expanding sounds support the emotional undertones which reflect on everything from BDSM, politics, and how sex is the only thing that will save our country.
