J Dilla‘s third studio album, The Shining, will forever be remembered in hip-hop. Serving as his first posthumous project following his death on February 10, 2006, the late Detroit rapper claimed it was only 75 percent finished while others argued only the mastering portion remained.

The Shining was released on August 22 of that same year through BBE records, with a slew of features including Common, Black Thought, D’Angelo, Madlib, J. Rocc, Dwele, Pharoahe Monch, and Busta Rhymes. Now, the label has linked with a record store named HHV in Berlin to release 500 copies of an exclusive gold vinyl edition.

The bundle includes a 40-page booklet containing an introductory essay and an interview with Peter Adarkwah of BBE Records. Retailing for roughly $30 dollars, fans can purchase the record directly on their website.
