Kendrick Lamar and Anderson .Paak convene for ‘SNL’ performance [Watch]Anderson Paak Martinez

Kendrick Lamar joined California treasure, Anderson .Paak, for the December 1 installment of Saturday Night Live, during which Lamar and .Paak combined creative forces to deliver an engaging live rendition of their hit collaboration, “Tints.” .Paak originally released “Tints” as the lead single from his third studio album, the feature-heavy offering, Oxnard. The warm reception that “Tints” enjoyed among fans of both artists extended to “Who R U?,” duly the second track that .Paak teased ahead of Oxnard’s arrival and the last of the two tunes that .Paak performed during his Saturday Night Live debut.

.Paak grins his signature, mega-watt smile from his place behind a drum set, balancing percussion and lead vocal responsibilities during “Tints,” as Lamar niftily verbalizes his parts. .Paak then goes in a solo direction, to rap “Who R U?”
