From disco inflections to trap orientations, hip-hop-bent inclusions, and out-of-the-box instrumentals, Keys N Krates‘ genre-bending debut album engaged a variety of electronic styles to ensure that there would be something for everyone on the trio’s first full-length outing. The eclectic and non-exclusionary character of Cura bears witness to a comparable kind of diversity in the nine-track LP’s newly released remix pack, Cura – The Remixes. The 10-track collection of different takes on Cura originals sees a variety of artists put forth reworks, including GANZ, Troyboi, and Danny Byrd, among others.
TroyBoi, Danny Byrd, and Falcons each take on “Music To My Ears,” while Hugo Massien and S-Type remix “My Night.” Massien notably brings two different versions of “My Night” to the remix pack, a “Maximized” and a “Minimized” edition. The Juan Maclean, GANZ, Electric Mantis, and Fabrikate drop off revamps of “Glitter,” “Flute Loop,” the eponymous “Cura,” and “Something Wonderful,” respectively.
