Loge21 make fearsome Deadbeats debut with ‘Charms’

Parisian production duo Loge21 have made their debut on the Zeds Dead-championed Deadbeats imprint with their newest track, “Charms.” The better part of Loge21’s release catalogue has been with fellow-Frenchman Tchami‘s Confession imprint, under which they released breakout hits, “Flip The Funk” and “Drop That.” Now Loge21 has secured a co-sign from DC and Hooks, proving to be a fitting match up for the group’s new delivery. “Charms” brings the aggressive house the Loge21 boys are known for, while also lending itself to the bass-abundant Deadbeats design. Seared into the track’s four-on-the-floor fabric are jagged wobble bass and metallic synth stabs, while pitched-up vocals float over the breathy interludes.

Zeds Dead have always had a penchant for inventive bass house, which partly why their occasional team-ups with Jauz have proven to be so successful. With Loge21 toeing that same line with their growing catalog, expect the up-and-coming Frenchmen to fit in with the Deadbeats roster more frequently going forward.
