Rising producer ManCub has always admitted a debt to the classics. Now his debut single ‘Sex You Up’ features vocals from singer Ray J and gives a nod to some nostalgic R&B bangers.
‘Sex You Up’ is an ingenious mash up of ‘I Wanna Sex You Up,’ ‘Don’t Wanna Be A Player’ and ‘Let Me Love You’ by Color Me Badd, Joe, and Mario respectively. And is that wasn’t enough, ManCub has brought on board American rapper Rich The Kid for the proceedings.
Updating that 90s sound, ‘Sex You Up’ blends both tropical house melodies with contemporary beats and a wicked verse from Rich to produce a killer track. It’s safe to safe we are hooked. Check it out below!
