Primavera Sound has announced the details behind its return to Barcelona in 2019. Hitting Parc del Fòrum Thursday, May 30 through Saturday, June 1, the festival has hit an impressive milestone for its almost 20th year running. The lineup boasts a powerful lineup already, including Charli XCX, Solange, Cardi B, Rosalia and others hitting its main stage; however, its offering doesn’t end there. Primavera is officially the first festivals of its kind, ever, to book more than half of its acts as female. While female representation at festivals has been an ongoing conversation in the music industry for some time, Primavera has taken action and presented a new normal for the future, and it looks great.
