Sam Lassner (aka Prince Fox) goes back to his roots with a cover of Jimmy Eat World’s early-2000s hit “The Middle.” For the second time, Lassner uses his own voice on a production and layers it over some old-school guitar riffs that he also supplied to the mix. In the SoundCloud description, Fox had some words on the cover:
“Jimmy Eat World’s album, ‘Bleed American’ was basically the soundtrack to my high school career…I absolutely loved the song and thought it would be cool to do a more chilled out, windows down version of the song as the weather finally starts to get warm again this month and next.”
