Sunset Music Festival returns to Tampa, with headliners Excision, The Chainsmokers, and Marshmello

SMF 2018 (1)

It seems the festival circuit never sleeps in the Sunshine State. Tampa’s Sunset Music Festival, held in the Buccaneers’ Raymond James Stadium, will return for its seventh year over Memorial Day weekend (May 26-27) via Sunset Events and Donnie Disco Presents. The festival has steadily risen through the festival echelon, evolving from its single-day origins, now with its most prolific two-day lineup to date.

This year’s lineup covers all the essential bases in EDM – with Marshmello, Excision, and The Chainsmokers headlining – as well as pulling out quite a few hip-hop and R&B stops. SMF will feature two unique stage takeovers, wherein the festival’s premier electro will team up with its top-notch hip-hop acts. Destructo will be joined by past fellow collaborator and performer, Yo Gotti at the All My Friends stage, while A-Trak will pair up with YehMe2 at the Brownies & Lemonade stage.
