Now available to purchase through Playground Music is Control, the new collection from Sweden’s WYOMI. There is plenty to like about this future bass/electronic hybrid, and six tracks for fans to sink their teeth into.
WYOMI’s sound is one that seems to get deeper and more eye-catching with each release; we were blown away with ‘Go Slow’ from the EP that got released a matter of weeks ago. The trio says: “We’ve been recording our own vocals, sounds and instruments to give it a slightly more organic vibe. And to push that vibe even further we looked deep into distortion and delays. All of these records have layers upon layers of atmosphere to really give it a sense of mystery.”
From the featured tunes, it has to be ‘Go Slow’ and ‘Bright Nights’ that really captivate our attention – and they are have breath-taking production and some serene melodies that seem to vibrate from the speakers.
