3LAU had a huge 2018 thanks to the release of his debut full length album Ultraviolet and the first iteration of his very own blockchain backed music festival Our Music Festival. The producer continues to ride his success streak into 2019, where he’s presented some fresh new music just four days into the year. He joins forces once again with vocalist Carly Paige “Would You Understand,” a mellowed, yet lovely follow-up to their Ultraviolet breakout single, “Touch.”
“Would You Understand” frames Carly’s vocals in an ethereal, pop-leaning arrangement packed with warm guitar effects and lush percussion accents. Rather than catering to the dance-floor, we see 3LAU getting back in touch with his softer side and instead making a tune that is suited for daily life. The soothing single is out now via 3LAU’s own label, Blume.
