No carving out further success for himself with his latest work is G-Rex, the highly capable bass producer and DJ from Detroit. He has put together four new singles for flourishing platform Wakaan, and it sees a releases as G-Rex embarks on a packed show schedule.
Titled Requiem, this is certainly a powerful body of work. He says of its release: “Really excited to finally get this EP out. I feel like this body of work really shows the progression of my sound and is much more aggressive than the last.” Its sole collaboration comes via ”Voodoo’ with LA’s STUCA, which is intense and dominating from the get-go. We’re also really feeling ‘Ladi,’ a slow start is worth the wait when its clanging bass begins to drop.
