Not even a rattlesnake can stop Mike Posner when he’s on a mission. The artist had been bitten by the poisonous snake variety whilst on his expansive foot tour across the US, and has officially announce his return to the road—or should we say, trail.
The bite incident happened on August 8 in Colorado, where Posner had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital to receive immediate care. According to his social media updates, he had to go through vigorous physical therapy and re-learn how to walk following his recovery from the venom. His recovery must have gone exceedingly well, however, as he announced he’d re-start his journey to the Pacific Ocean on August 29:
This walk continues tomorrow, after having a minor setback due to the rattle snake, it’s time to pack up my bags, tie my shoes, revive my spirit and head back to the open road. So many amazing states, & cities I have crossed but i can’t wait to cross so many more state lines! pic.twitter.com/WZgRTPghjW

Posner began his trek across the states early in 2019, shortly after announcing his upcoming LP, A Real Good Kid.
