There’s a NuKid on the Tchami-led CONFESSION block. Subtle as a gun, the LA native’s latest lesson in G-House, “Sudden,” marks his official CONFESSION debut.
According to NuKid, he and Moeazy (“Sudden”‘s rhyme authority) took their time bringing the track to fruition.
“The mix between hip hop and house music is what I was really trying to accomplish when creating this record,” NuKid says. “With this single you really get the full spectrum of both genres in one.”
A club atmosphere’s prescribed dose of lasciviousness, “Sudden” is playful and pulsing. With a house beat dancing on hip-hop’s doorstep, “Sudden” fits swimmingly alongside CONFESSION’s forthright four-by-four catalog, while nudging the ever-influential imprint to its stylistic precipice.
