We’re one step closer to new music from Swedish House Mafia, and amid the mixed reactions to their…less than smooth comeback, at this point, new music may be the trio’s final saving grace. With numerous cancellations throughout the summer, fans are understandably anxious for new music, and it appears even Shazam is growing restless waiting for the group’s new studio output. In fact, the song identifying application have a jumped the gun, recently naming a previously unidentified track that had only been played out live, signaling that an official release may be slated for much sooner than anyone thought.

The track used to open the Mafia’s homecoming Stockholm run earlier this year, according to Shazam, is now called “It Gets Better.” The new song would presumably be the outfit’s first new music together since 2012. Now Shazam is successfully ID’ing the song, signaling to an official release, likely just around the corner. “It Gets Better,” is one of many new Swedish House Mafia cuts floating around the internet, including a tentatively titled “Underneath It All,” and a yet-to-be-released collaboration with the recently freed A$AP Rocky.
