The Lonely Island, the comedic supergroup consisting of Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer, had a surprise for fans during the outfit’s tour stop in Detroit, Michigan. Detroit native emcee Danny Brown came out on stage to rap the iconic “Lazy Sunday” alongside the trio.
Although The Lonely Island has been performing for years, 2019 marks the group’s first official tour, which kicked off at Bonnaroo on June 15. The tour, spanning just two weeks, visits eight lucky cities, with Detroit’s show serving as the seventh in the lineup.
