Amsterdam Dance Event Announces First Speakers for Virtual Conference

The annual Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is planning to go digital-first for its 2020 edition. The ADE is the citywide festival and global industry meeting point for electronic music. This year, it will take place on October 21-25 and the first speakers were finally announced.

Along with revealed speakers, COVID-proof seated concert and cross-cultural projects under the ADE Specials banner were also announced. Unfortunately, as the music industry took a big hit due to COVID-19, the events 25th-anniversary edition will be a bit different than planned as the safety of its 400,000 international visitors is the first priority.

Some of the event highlights include Grammy winner musician James Blake as he delves into conversation with mental health expert Jennie Morton. Also in attendance is Bandcamp’s Aly Gillani, VFX specialist Angelo White, VEVO’s Claudia de Wolff, BBC Radio 1 DJ Jaguar, and music entrepreneur Merck Mercuriadis.

For those that are interested in attending, the ADE 2020 Digital Pro Pass will grant access to the entire ADE Pro conference program and will also feature a year-long subscription to the social media platform. Fans can also look out for a hefty discount for next year’s edition. Click here to get the Digital Pro Pass.
