San Diego’s very own K3SS is back with his 8th single, “The Deep” out today on all platforms.
This fresh up and coming DJ and producer is heavily inspired by the sounds of Sasha and Digweed, Paul Van Dyk, Above and Beyond, Armin Van Buuren, and Markus Schultz to name a few. His new track embodies a bit of each of these talented artists, while portraying a new sound that fuses both the the dark and light side to Trance music.
It’s a track the surely takes you on a journey from start to finish, with an upbeat kick drum that makes you feel like you’re flying through a vortex. The track progresses with some beautiful melodic undertones that perfectly emulates a lively and majestic trance universe. It’s purely uplifting and simply makes you want to go out and dance. Although that’s not entirely possible right now, the track reminds of those times and makes us look forward to the times ahead. The track ends with the same kick drum to take you right back to where you started on your journey through “The Deep.”
K3SS has been writing music his whole life but really began producing trance music three years ago. Shortly thereafter, he was signed to an independent label in Los Angeles. And it’s clear why. His attention to each second of the track pays homage to some incredible well-established artists but in doing so creates an immersive and energetic sound of his own.
