Crankdat flexes melodic dubstep expertise on ‘Tell Me’Crankdat

Track-star-turned-DJ, Crankdat is continuing his string of releases on titan Canadian label Monstercat with a new melodic dubstep number, “Tell Me.” COVID-19 has obviously not slowed Crankdat down, seeing as he has released hit after hit for the entirety of 2020. From fellow Monstercat releases “Who I Am” and “Redo,” to “The Fire” and “BADFUTURE,” released via Kayzo‘s Welcome Records, not to mention an entire EP of slammers on Disciple Records, Crankdat continues to murder the game regardless of label and genre, and “Tell Me” is no exception.

Opening with bright chords and vocals singing, “Tell me that you need me, tell me that you’ll never let me go,” Crankdat’s newest release is captivating from the very beginning. The song progresses into an energetic buildup with accent drums before giving way to a melodic dubstep break. Incorporating precise stabs and classic future bass synths, the drop does justice to its genre while showcasing the unique mechanical Crankdat sound. Stream “Tell Me” below.
