DJ Snake’s sophomore single of the decade takes shape on ‘Damn Right Pt. 2’DJ Snake

The live event circuit remains in stasis, but that won’t stop DJ Snake from stocking his arsenal of electronic artillery to be deployed at a later date. Throughout the new decade, Snake has disseminated a series of multimedia musical goodies, including the film for his performance at Paris La Défense Arena and “Trust Nobody,” an ID from the appearance that garnered a cult-like following after its February debut at the Nanterre venue.

Between an extended visual, a sought-after single, and a back-to-back set alongside fellow Parisian deck decimator Malaa that lived up to its name—”Best Of Both Worlds“—Snake has engaged his following at various points throughout 2020. The trend holds true with “Damn Right Pt. 2.”

An extension of Audrey Nuna’s “damn Right,” the so-called sonic sequel goes through the DJ Snake spin cycle, emerging as a higher-octane counterpart to its predecessor. Proof of Snake’s enduring ability to pour gasoline on another artist’s source material and light it up in his characteristically commanding fashion, “Damn Right Pt. 2” is available to stream below.
