After his single with Hudson Mohawke kicked things off in May, Jimmy Edgar followed “BENT” with a pair of bombastic singles with SOPHIE and Danny Brown at the beginning of October. Now, Edgar continues his release spree with another pair of tracks. “BE WITH YOU” features Millie Go Lightly‘s airy vocals as a sharp contrast to Edgar’s punchy production while “ZIGZAG” highlights Edgar in his experimental lane.
CHEETAH BEND is not an EP, Edgar pointed out on Twitter, and more tunes are on the way as this project continues to roll out. There is no public word yet on the name of the project or when it is due for release. On top of his singles, Jimmy Edgar picked up production credits on OG Maco’s latest track and on a recent single from Nia Kay.
