Mac Miller‘s first official work since his death in September 2018 is finally ready to be heard. Release plans for the late rapper’s material and a rumored documentary have been up in the air in the year since his death, though now his estate is preparing to release Circles, a companion to 2018’s Swimming, which landed only a month before Miller’s passing. Circles is due to be released on January 17.
In a statement posted to Miller’s social media channels by his family, the 26-year-old rhymer was well in the process of recording Circles with producer Jon Brion at the time of his death.
