Ape Drums is giving streamers something to buzz about before Major Lazer‘s fourth studio album Music Is The Weapon arrives on October 23. The Major Lazer constituent shows his face in the release ring in solo fashion with “Delete,” the first single to bear the Ape Drums stamp since the producer, born Eric Alberto-Lopez, joined Major Lazer in 2019.

Developed in the electronic-laced dancehall format that has won Ape Drums praise in recent years, “Delete” sources its captivating patois from Jamaica’s BEAM. A hip-shaking number that shows off Ape Drums’ dancehall chops, “Delete” arrives in tandem with a visual that rounds out the “Delete” drop.
