Peyton Reveals Heartfelt Video To ‘Things Can Onl….

Peyton - Things Can Only Get Better

Catching our attention this week is the newly released official video to Peyton‘s 2019 dance hit ‘Things Can Only Get Better.’ Previously based in Ibiza, the US born producer and DJ has had a prolific career writing some huge records since breaking out in 2003 and playing all over the world.

Going back to his single from last year (which was reworked earlier in 2020 for a remix bundle), Peyton hopes the video’s message will inspire others out of darkness, in what has been an incredibly testing year. He explains: “This year has been and continues to be a year of epic challenge for most of us on planet earth. For many it has also been a year of revelations, new discoveries, and deep spiritual growth on some level. The singular purpose of this video was to create a vision that we can hopefully ALL share, of a life outside the boxes we live in. Lockdowns have kept millions of us indoors, while closed borders have prevented us from moving freely and seeing our friends and family at a time when perhaps we’ve needed them the most. Worst of all, in many places the pandemic has been politicised and boxed up our minds, creating yet more division in a world that seems increasingly divided by the day.

This song is an anthem of hope and a declaration of positivity to this weary world, which I pray might provide some encouragement by reminding all of us that things can and will get better if we stay connected to each other and let our collective light illuminate the path ahead. This year will undoubtedly be remembered as a dark time, but I also hope that it will be the year many of us began to finally understand that we must never be afraid of the darkness, because darkness does not exist. Darkness is nothing but the absence of light. And this light is something we were all born with so that we may let it shine, especially when it feels like there is nothing but darkness all around. We do this through kindness, thoughtfulness, forgiveness, generosity, patience, selflessness, connection, and most importantly LOVE.”

It has been beautifully directed by Dan French and we love the message it conveys. Give it a watch right here.
