Back on the scene today with a new production is Thomas Gold, who is currently based in Berlin and one of Germany’s most talented artists. He has taken on an iconic track to make his own, and it is none other than ‘Pump Up The Jam’ from Technotronic, which is now nearly 30 years old.
Gold himself has remixed artists like Lady Gaga and J.Balvin, whilst playing all over the world when that was a thing. He also founded his own label Fanfare Records and continues to move from strength to strength.
Returning to today’s offering, we are pleased to report it’s a stellar take on a classic. Not playing around too much with its original format, the producer adds a spot of extra bassline weight and adds in some vocal chops for good measure – it’s a refined effort and most definitely works.
