SiriusXM’s BPM is recognizing dance music’s powerhouse women with the bpm EMPOWERED Virtual Festival. Highlighting an exclusively female lineup of hosts, artist performances, and DJs, the inaugural event marks BPM’s first all-women dance music-focused festival and begins December 12 at 11:00 a.m. EST / 8:00 a.m. PST.
Featured artist performances will include sets from Alison Wonderland, Anna Lunoe, REZZ, Nervo, Icona Pop, and more. In addition to a stellar list of performers, some of the top women in the dance music industry will share behind the scenes stories, and words of inspiration and confidence. This curated selection includes Sirius XM’s Rida Naser, Armada‘s Stephanie Karten, Big Beat Record‘s Gina Tucci, and many more.
Naser discussed the inspiration behind the event and what listeners can expect from the virtual festival with Dancing Astronaut, stating,
