Today, BPM Festival: Costa Rica has canceled their 2021 festival via an announcement on their Facebook page. The cancelation stems from the festival not being able to get clearance from the Costa Rican government. This is the second cancelation for BPM Festival, with their first cancelation being their 2020 event in Malta. Ticketholders for this year’s event can keep their tickets for 2022 or they can refund their tickets and have until January 25 to do so.
It is extremely unfortunate that BPM Festival: Costa Rica had to be postponed but it is for the greater good. As vaccines are beginning to finally become dispersed, it will take some time for the vaccines to be integrated into populations across the world. It will be well worth the wait once this process is completed.
